Privacy notice
Effective date: 15 October 2026
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This notice explains how Rodeo Marketing LLC, doing business as Rodeo Leads (“Rodeo Leads”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and shares personal information through rodeoleads.com. It covers this website, the Book a call form, the texts our sales team sends to people who agree to them on the form, and the cookies and tags on the site.
It does not cover the client portal at nexus.rodeoleads.com. The portal is for our clients, and its use is covered by our agreements with them.
The short version
- When you send the Book a call form, we use your answers to call you back. They reach our team by email, and we keep a copy in a spreadsheet.
- If you tick the box on the form, our sales team may text you. Reply STOP at any time to stop.
- The site currently loads no advertising or analytics tags. If we add them, you can turn the advertising tags off, as described below.
- We don’t sell your form answers. Some state laws count the advertising tags as “selling” or “sharing” personal information. You can turn them off on our Do not sell or share my personal information page, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information. Email info@rodeoleads.com.
What we collect
What you tell us on the form
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- Your agency’s name.
- The lines of insurance you write.
- How many interviews you can take a week, if you tell us.
- Anything you write in the box “Anything we should know before we call?”
- Whether you ticked the box to get texts from us, and when you sent the form.
Please don’t put sensitive information, such as health or financial details, in the form.
Where your answers go
When you send the form, your answers go to our team by email, at info@rodeoleads.com. We also add them to a spreadsheet in our company Google account, so our team has one list of requests. Our server keeps a backup copy of each form for 90 days, in case the email fails, and then deletes it.
What the form adds
When you send the form, it also records the address of the page, any campaign tags in that address, and when the page was opened. Campaign tags tell us which ad or post brought you to the site. We use the time to filter out spam robots.
What our server records
Like most websites, our server logs each request it receives: your IP address, your browser type, the page asked for, the page you came from and the time. We use these logs to run the site, keep it secure and stop spam. For example, we use IP addresses to limit how many forms one address can send.
What cookies and tags collect
The tools listed under “Cookies and tags” below, if we add them, collect information about your visit. This includes the pages you view, what you click, whether you sent the form (but not what you wrote in it), your browser and device, your approximate location based on your IP address, and identifiers stored in cookies.
If you become a client
We don’t sell packages on this site, and the site takes no payments. If you become a client, our sales team sends invoices and payment links through GoHighLevel, and you pay through Stripe or PayPal under their own privacy policies. We keep the business and billing records that go with this.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
- call you back about your request;
- text you, if you agreed on the form (see our SMS terms);
- keep a record of requests, so our team can follow up and nothing is lost;
- learn which pages, ads and posts bring people to the site and which of them result in a request, so we can improve the site and our ads;
- keep the site secure, and stop spam and misuse;
- keep records of consent, meet our legal obligations and protect our rights.
We don’t use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Cookies and tags
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Tags are small pieces of code that send information about your visit to the company that provides them. The site currently loads no advertising or analytics tags. If we add any, we will load them through Google Tag Manager, so we can manage them in one place, and the table below describes them.
| Tool | What it does | Off when you opt out? |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Counts visits and shows us how people find and use the site, in reports that don’t name you. | Yes |
| Google Ads conversion tracking | Tells us when a visit from one of our Google ads results in a sent form. | Yes |
| Meta Pixel | Tells us when a visit from one of our Facebook or Instagram ads results in a sent form. Meta may also use it to show our ads to people who visited the site. | Yes |
| LinkedIn Insight Tag | Measures our LinkedIn ads and shows us, in totals, what kinds of companies visit the site. LinkedIn may also use it to show our ads to people who visited the site. | Yes |
| Google Tag Manager | Loads the tools above. It doesn’t set cookies of its own. | No |
When you opt out, we also save a small record in your browser so we remember your choice.
The advertising tags receive only the fact that a form was sent. They never receive your name, phone number, email address or answers.
If you opt out, we turn off Google Analytics too, along with the advertising tags.
We also use Google Search Console, which shows us how the site appears in Google search. It works from Google’s own search data and adds nothing to this site that tracks you.
Your choices about cookies and tags:
- Use our Do not sell or share my personal information page to turn off the advertising tags in your browser.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We treat it as a request to opt out, and the advertising tags don’t load.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings.
- Change your ad settings with Google, Meta and LinkedIn directly.
Browsers’ “Do Not Track” setting has no common standard, so we don’t respond to it. We do honor Global Privacy Control.
Hosting and videos. The site runs behind Cloudflare’s network. The site and its videos are served from our own server, with no third-party video host. A video loads only when you press play. Cloudflare and our server may log basic details of a request, such as your IP address, browser and the time, as any web host does.
How long we keep it
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Form requests, in our inbox and spreadsheet, if you don’t become a client | Until we decide to delete them, or until you ask us to delete yours where the law gives you that right (see Your privacy rights) |
| Records of consent to texts, and of requests to stop | 5 years, so we can show what you agreed to or asked for |
| The backup copy of each form on our server | 90 days |
| Server logs | 30 days |
| Business and billing records, if you become a client | 7 years after our work together ends, for tax and accounting |
| Data the advertising tags send to Google, Meta and LinkedIn | Set by each company’s own policies |
We may keep information longer if the law requires it or to settle a dispute. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove what identifies you.
Keeping it safe
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). We keep requests in company accounts, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be accessed without permission.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws, including those of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and Oregon, may give you the right to:
- Know and access: ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy in a format you can use.
- Correct: ask us to fix information that is wrong.
- Delete: ask us to delete your information.
- Opt out: of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising. See Do not sell or share my personal information.
- Equal treatment: we won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
- Appeal: ask us to look again if we turn down your request.
We answer these requests from anyone in the US, whichever state you live in.
We don’t collect sensitive personal information as these laws define it, so there is nothing to limit there.
How to make a request
Email info@rodeoleads.com or call (786) 789-2945. Tell us what you’re asking for, and give the name, email address and phone number you used with us.
- We confirm we have your request within 10 business days, and answer within 45 days. If we need more time, up to 45 more days, we’ll tell you why.
- To protect you, we check that the request comes from you by matching the details you give with what we hold. We may ask for one more detail. You don’t need to prove who you are to opt out.
- Someone you authorize can make a request for you. We’ll ask for your signed permission, and we may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.
- We may turn down a request when the law allows, for example when we must keep a record. If we do, we’ll tell you why.
How to appeal
If we turn down your request, you can appeal. Reply to our answer, or email info@rodeoleads.com with “Appeal” in the subject. We’ll answer within 45 days and explain our decision. If you still disagree, you can contact your state’s attorney general.
